noteworthy thought number two

i seem to be all about quotes this week. funny. but here is another one by a scottish minister from his book, the wind on the heath (1915), a worthwhile read:

"but the contentment which the Bible preaches is not any dull and heavy-eyed submission: it is the contentment which is full of gladness because it rests it's head in the lap of love...love is content because it 'believeth' all things, and yet it is never content because it 'hopeth' all things." -george h. morrison

* * *
"let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. for He Himself has said, 'i will never leave you nor forsake you.'" Hebrews 13:5
