
last monday i returned home after spending four months at the bible college in germany. the semester was incredible and saying goodbye, bittersweet. i didn't realize how many people i've befriended and laboured alongside in the ministry for the last year and a half- learning the culture, learning the language, and learning more about missions and ministry...
it was interesting to come home and realize the reality of 'culture shock' even though i've only been gone for four months. in my opinion, 'culture shock' can also be deemed as 'sensory overload' as within a matter of seven hours my brain comprehends every nearby conversation, billboard, and tv commercail (even the variety in the bread aisle is somewhat of an awakening).
yesterday i began the daunting task of searching for a place of employment. i am co
nfident the Lord will provide in His perfect timing even if i am getting a bit restless for something to keep me busy. for now i continue to seek Him for direction and take each day one at a time...
